Founded in 1935, Norwalk Sail & Power Squadron is a non-profit boating organization. There are several events annually, including two cruises/rendezvous and lots of good times.
We teach boating classes to the general public and each other. We can help you get your required Connecticut Safe Boating Certificate. Our members are an enthusiastic group who teach awareness of boating and boating safety to the community and who enjoy camaraderie and good times with others who love to "mess about in boats."
In addition to regular meetings, we also have gatherings during the year, both on land and water. Our shared feelings about boats and being on the water have fostered many long-lasting relationships. We are there for each other. When traveling to distant ports, members can call upon the local squadron's Port Captain for local information. We are a close-knit group of fun-loving, knowledgeable boaters who have fun together both on and off the water.
Whether a sailor, a power boater, or a kayaker; whether you race, day cruise, or enjoy extended cruising, there's a place for you as a member of the Norwalk Sail & Power Squadron. Come join us.
